We're better off renting a building for the weekend and bringing all of our boats and some coolers

+1. And they use the dollars they use to spend on boat shows for poker run appearances. LOTO shootout etc. They get more bang for the buck at those events than boat shows, with the exception of Miami.

Supposedly Pier 57 will be there this year, according to their 2014 list of events at least.

When I was into fast rides I used to bring them to the World of Wheels, it would be cool if they had something like that for power boats!

By no means was I criticizing the dealers! I am sure there is a good reason they don't show. It is just strange to me that they locate their business in chicago, yet they obviously don't sell enough boats at the show to make it worth going.

I can almost walk to the show, and I still consider it pretty much a waste of time. Although, I do usually go , just to get out of the house and maybe go grab a bite after. I would never drive any distance to go.
