WEll, there are some storms over IA right now. For those of us that had to WORK (ahem Candyman) we couldn't get out Fri. We're leaning towards Sunday now cause the marine forecast says 2-4'ers for Saturday and it's usually conservative, so 4'ers. Won't be too fun anchoring in 4'ers
So far, Sunday still looks good, and the marine forecasts for IL and MI waters both show the lake laying down. LET'S HOPE.
My wife even wanted to go tonight and put in the water still just here in St Joe, even if it's raining. Man, she's got it bad. LOL! I talked her out of it.
Guess we'll check the weather in the morning and see if we'll want to head over. Man, I hope we can still make it, we REALLY want to get to the show. Without getting drenched from rain.

Well, were throwing in the towel for Saturday. Possible thunderstorms and 25 to 30 knot winds, thats no fun. We will try to run down to the show on Sunday instead. So if any you guys change your minds for sunday, we will try to leave Northpoint between 10:00 and 10:30.

Forecast at 9:45 pm friday night for Sunday is N.W. winds 10-15 with waves 1-3 ft near shore.
Is there a specific VHF channel that OSO members will be on so we can meet each other. I was just curious.

Klaw,
I passed your boat twice today going and coming out of Burnham after the show. I didn't realize who you were till I saw the boat name then it clicked. I was in the white 35 Fountain that waved at you when you were leaving the harbor.
Saturday isn't looking too good. I'll probably be out on Sunday if the North winds aren't too bad. There were fewer than 200 boats out today. The best place to watch the show this year is just south of North Ave beach. Right even with the pensile where they play volleyball. You will have planes over you all day. Here is a teaser for you. I'm still getting used to the digital camera and the light wasn't the best today.
Enjoy!
