I've had the privilege of spending a great deal of time in both a 42 PR and a 36 Glad. The 42 wins in speed, handling and ride. Cig wins in fit finish. Both were 525 ITS Bravo boats. If the X is high on the 42 PR, which most are, prop and drive failure is common. A #6 or NXT 42 PR would be an amazing machine. I was in Stampede at 140 and was very impressed with the ride.

Watch out for ATL fuel bladders in the 42. I haven't seen one yet that doesn't leak.

Will the xr last longer if you Lower the X on the 42pr? Is there a fix for the tanks? Just curious.thx
