Read this http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/g...bra-cat-3.html
I just sold mine. 1995, twin HP500/Bravo's, excellent condition, mid $40's.
It was a great way to get into a cat for minimal $$$'s. Definitiely a great way to learn about cats before stepping up to a newer design with more power. Mine ran 103 mph tops and 98+ any day.

Most sterndrives were built as a single big block. 500hp runs around high 70s-low 80s Supercharged or build up hp? I've heard speeds at the 100+ mark The nice thing is no hop (porpoise) at any speeds with twin or single.Tight cockpit but can have a cabin, some do

Also there are two cobra cats boat companies .one in Jersey and one in Cali. Mine is Jersey built.I think the Cali ones have a pod on the bottom
