Outerlimits sends the boat to the ex head of Fountain race shop to set up and run it! I think that's awesome!

What power was the original Fountain kilo boat?

What was the real length? (was it based on the 42 or 47 - so was it really a 39 or 44?)

Going off memory it was a 42 with twin 1500s.

What's the point of these records without any meaningful limitations (length, power, design etc.)? If we're trying to prove superior hull technology then all other factors should be nullified.

Uh, thats 300 hp. But no one dynoed the fountain after the run and chances are, like they said in this thread, they probably cheated and added a lot more hp.
