I haven't read whole thread, sorry if it's sold aleady, but just in case,

Is this boat still for sale ?

My dad had one like this when I was young. It had a stock 5.7L that revved to 7500rpm. Couldn't pull any more rpm for some reason. I wanted to add a 4bbl carb to that 2bbl motor to see if that would make it gain some more rpm.

We made it a full race by putting a canopy on it.





If, I remember right, it was an old Sunbrella canopy from his old work.

Was it aluminum and look like this? IIRC they were special order and very rare.
