Thanks for all the ideas guys!

Dave as usual you understand it quite well

Hot Pursuit ... Your a wild man!

After all that has happened so quickly we our scrammbling to fill the spot. We dont want to make rash decision or put someone in there in a awkward postion. We knew last year we lacked a "perfect" flat water setup. Our rough water one is spot on (as in Cocoa, Orange Beach and Mich City), Chuck Cice and Ed from CCperformance(fomerly UNITED Racing engines Miami) and Pat Weismann have given us some of the best power and drivetrain available. We rushed 2 weeks before Kw to Reggie Fountain Jr for some quick suggestions
for flat water (the catlite guys are some of the best at setup in flat) Unfortunately we had a weird problem in the boat that plagued us the entire week. So with the quick departure of our team member, moving into a new shop for the team, new prop purchases, we have alot to work on the next few months. Bob would be a great choice but I think he,s planning a return ( we dont want to jepordize that , another boat would be great) Yanking other Tman out of existing teams is not my style...There are quite few qualified guys out there...just looking to see who would fit and provide ample input without diturbing future teams to come in to the class...The class is looking great with all the shuffling around an Billy with a super slick 40 coiming it should be Pretty interesting.

ps. casey maybe your right..put the boat in Sarasota bay and have tryouts like they do it baseball..who knows who you might find...hmmmm

Tony is right about Bob. Heard that OPA asked Bob to set up rules for OPA SC and he agreed. i am pretty sure that Bob Teague is back to racing on his own Skater known as AMSOIL.

Again, he (tony) knows what is best...Just give it time.

Thanks Matt. The last race I was in, was the 271 mile Around Long Island Marathon 4 years ago.

We won and it took 6 hours and 15 minutes to finish.....did I mention it was held on the same weekend that Hurricane Igor hit the northeast?

If nothing else, I would appreciate an opportunity to meet Tony.

Ok guys....

I just spoke with Tony recently and he has decided that he wanted to do tryouts to see who will be his new Throttleman. Tryouts will be at Sarasota, Florida BEFORE the race. He wanted to see what you got, how you handle on the sticks during race, etc.

Hang in there, more to come.

Thanks,
Chris
