Didn't see them my self, but a friend
of mine asked me if there was any races
in Grand Haven this weekend.
He said he had seen Some really big
race boats headed that way.
Anybody know of anything?

Ouch man, that really hurts.
Mark, is your boat stinking??
The Cat Can Do race team is headquartered in Grand Haven (Nunica actually, but it's close enough). Every time I drive by their shop there is another race boat in the parking lot. Probably there for rigging as they do some rigging for other teams. Cat Can Do currently runs two boats......a 40 Skater Supercat and a 28 Skater twin O.B. boat. They also have totally re-fitted the Jelly Belly/Gone Again boat for poker runs (looks nothing like it did before). Last time I saw it it was all white, but I'm sure that has changed since then. 150mph poker run boat, sounds nice doesn't it?? They even let me and Wally check it out in the shop last summer. Nice guys doing what they can to promote the sport. Including running the supercat in the Smoke On The Water poker run.
The Barcardi boat is David Scott's boat, isn't it?? Wonder what he's doing up this way???

Teusday I saw the "WMH" or "WHM" (or what ever it is) race boat heading north on 196. It was an all yellow 40' Skater and I saw him right around South Haven and I followed him north until he got off at the Douglas/Saugatuck exit which is where the Skater factory is. Sharp boat with full canopie and #6's. It had New York license plates.
