Default Are we judged by the brand and size of are boats

Just seeing what everyone else thinks - either intentional or not are people being treated by the brand and size of there boat ? I see some guys take a beatin where as the guys with the most expensive and biggest boats are never touched my the mobs. I think the first thing a lot of people do is look left at avatar at make and size of and then post count, this info I belive let's them know how to treat them

To bad that's the way it works

Just my opinion !!!

Not true......

Jim Darr has a 44 Skater and regularly takes a beating
Bill P. has a 388 Skater and has taken a ton of heat for video clips posted on youtube

Yup.

I have always been treated well, and treat others well. When I joined here I owned a 19' four winns, I was always treated well when I started posting after I bought the 24 cig, then the 30' formula, and now the 382. Certainly all are small potatoes compared to some boats on here...

However, it does seem like there has been a lot of jumping on the little guys lately... I'm hoping that's just because it's been a LOOOOONG winter

I think it's just on the internet. Out on the water I think everyone treats each other better and has each other's back.

Well ya, duh.

It's a combination of internet/anonymous bravado, 'look at me, see how much I know', and a touch of arrogance.

AKA, dick swinging.

Ironic part of this thread is that I'm far more likely to judge someone based upon how they present themselves online. How their sentences are structured and executed is important.

I myself have been guilty of judging by make and size of boat - at first looked up to the guys with the boat I could never own ! I
