the coroners report yesterday said both girls died of drowning and not hypothermia despite wearing pfd's. no word on the two still missing

to much of it out there right now, this time of year it is regular. Just spoke to my mom and they said no damage on boat, was told wrong earlier. It was plenty of boat for the day and Bryan was certainly capable and experienced,

I really feel for the families. There is nothing worse than a parent losing a child. My condolences go out to family and friends.
Guys, wear your life jackets. Yes, I know the women had theirs on, but without a PFD, you don't even stand a chance. Having a personal locator beacon attached (available at REI), and you stand a good chance.
Watch this video if you don't think you need a life jacket around cold water (under 70 degrees). Even if you do wear one, there are some tips for doubling your chances of survival in cold water.
