I understand the boating part, but what about the average summer weekends with no shootout or poker run going on. How is the nightlife, women, etc... on the normal Friday/Saturday nights?

I like the Lake Ozark area. Osage Beach is a bit better now with the new bypass. I come from the North so Lake Ozark is the closest to me. Camdenton is just a bit too far South (again, better now with the new bypass) and Sunrise Beach, Laurie, etc. I have to cross (pay) the Community Bridge.

Tons of night life all season long between topsiders/toad/shady gators all have live bands every weekend and theme parties throughout the summer.

I moved to the Lake in October, I love it down here. There are fast boats everywhere you turn your head. If you love powerboating you have to come the lake least once.

Picking up a boat at Nauti Marine and doing the Harbor Hop in two weeks. Haven't been down since the Shootout last year. My longest stretch of not being down there in years. Been too long!

Still very busy every weekend. Plenty of night life. You just need to know where to go.

I think I can sum it all up with this..." IF you have to ask...you wouldn't understand.."
