Set the brackets!
In my own little way, I am trying to work through the first pass in this pile one day at a time-
today the plan is to start with, and work through some Friday run shots before I get into Saturday.
But first, I want to put one up from Saturday's Shootout, because it is unique.
Hopefully, it is a sign of more to come.

Hi Jay, The very last boat at the left of the beach in this pic is mine , I know you took a million shots out there and are pretty busy going through them all but if you run across one of my boat please let me know. I would love to see it and possibly buy a copy if its a cool shot. Thanks

Local Knowledge
If you are interested in shots of your boat, 2 things:
If the silver helo wasn't on you, I probably didin't get you, but send me a link or jpeg of your boat anyway- ya never know.
I spent so much time in the air this year I need to know WHEN you were on the water so I know where to look.
For those of you interested, my friend and sponsor, Dave Johnson, has a nice article up at his forum with a comprehensive look at his view of the history and future of the event. Interesting to hear from someone who lives there.
My feeling is the changes in this year's format were just what the run needed.
Thinking selfishly... and strictly from an event photographer's viewpoint- I loved it.
Seemed like everyone stayed on the lake all day- I was like the proverbial kid in a candy store.
