I would be very cautious. I don't know what your budget is but have you considered a used Shockwave 25 Tremor? Great lake boat. Still in business. Alot better reputation. Great value and big for a 25 footer. I would ask other boaters at riverdavesplace.com. More lake boaters on there to ask their opinion.

I'm trying to figure out how to post a picture on the forum….I'll try to figure it out in the morning. I thought the VIN had the l sat two digits as 86, but when you zoom in it appears to be a 96 after all. My budget is not much, which limits my options….I'd like to stay at $15K or less.

As mentioned it would be best to post an image of the complete Hull ID Number (HIN)... especially since it is a Warlock and in the Eastern part of the US. Ironically the last Warlock I looked at just a few months ago was titled as a 1982 Chris Craft Scorpion and had a sloppy HIN# engraved in the hull to match the title.

FWIW, I had a nice conversation recently with Tom Stolarz (the original founder of Warlock), and yes as mentioned earlier, Warlocks were made all the way back to the mid to early 80s.
