So unusual I had to post, If there is a 1976 17 ft boat worth $26,000 maybe this is it. I have no idea... Is a Lycoming an airplane engine or a helicopter? This thing travels across water or ice.

Rule number 1 of boat ads- Don't use big words when you don't know the meaning.
Rule number 2- Don't tell us the price is going up in the spring. It's a depreciable asset, not the the Mona Lisa or a '63 split window.

But seriously.. "maliciously maintained"? Is your ex-wife's new boyfriend also your marine mechanic? Are you looking to collect an insurance settlement? How many times exactly, have you left the plug out when launching? The word you were likely looking for is "meticulously", but until told otherwise, we have to assume you were trying to eff stuff up when maintaining it.

From the ad:
2001 customized baja hammer
7.4L 454
LOW HOURS (220)
2nd owner
21 ft
Cubby cabin
Thru hull exhaust
Stainless steel prop
Eagle 1 tandem trailer with electric brakes

Boat is absolutely stunning. Gets looks, compliments and views everywhere it goes. Very fast, loud, powerful machine that has been maliciously maintained and cared for. Everything is perfect on the boat besides very minor cosmetic flaws.

I'm selling this boat for a steal as this is out of season. The price will increase if still for sale during spring/summer season.

I'd bet he typed something close to meticulously and spell check did its thing. Proofing is so very important.

I think there may be an extra zero in here somewhere...

http://detroit.craigslist.org/wyn/boa/5966296517.html

1977 Wellcraft 25'Nova Galvanized Tandem Trailer
Twin 302 Fords 188 HP New Interior,Props,Dist. ect.
Excellent Cond. Turn Key 15000.00
It may be the nicest 77 Nova in the world, but it ain't worth $15K....

Default Another "price will go up in the spring" ad

https://detroit.craigslist.org/mcb/boa/5939811795.html

I guess these tag lines only happen in northern states. What tag lines do you guys down south use? "price will go up after it survives the next hurricane"?

propulsion type: human Probably not going to be winning any races. Interesting boat for my neck of the woods though.

I believe that boat used to be in MI late 90's-early 2000's, it had 4 refrigerator sized Johnson 300GT V-8 outboards, and before that it was in NY and was painted all black with green/orange graphics on it.
