Wonder if it's just there for a repower/rig or it's got structural concerns...

Structural most likely. Appeared to have been outside for some time. If it were a scarab or Chris craft etc you’d expect to see it in the boneyard for 5000$ project hull.

Very nice Nova w/twin small blocks which I’m not sure I’ve seen.

I think all the twins I’ve seen have had in-line 6’s.

Pretty boat w/a ton of potential and always liked them.

Needs a transom.

Damn that thing is nice. Are those alpha drives?

I like the method I saw of cutting the outside layer of glass off the transom and fixing it that way. Seems a lot easier.

Yep.

That method of transom replacement is poo poo’d but I’ve done several and all were 100% stronger than OEM.

No other option for many and many hulls not worth the $$ o do it from inside.

If I didn’t already have a project, I’d go look at it.

A 25’ Nova was on my watch list for a twin OB conversion.
Would be killer 😉

Very clean looking Nova. My very first boat was a Nova 23 XL with a single small block. Absolutely loved that thing.
