Thats the old Larry Smith Scarab that was built with outboards from the beginning it had triple V8 Evinrude's.

Did Prince Albert of Monaco buy this or did it stay State-side? Saw this 1985 photo of a 46' triple outboard, a while back, in Jared Powell's article interviewing Larry Smith.

Wow!!! That's not just a legendary boat, it's a great deal for the right caretaker, and so is the Team Scarab 46. Most boating folks

don't grasp how much money it takes to build the best, but then nobody of the ones in the knowing complains or wishes things

where any different, except when exceptional boats get neglected or destroyed by the ignorant ones with more money than brains.
