1968 chevelle concours rare rare rare - $10000 (New Hartford )

Cracks a helluva drug, lol !
A few things:

1. Is Concours the model of the Chevelle or does he just not know what Concours usually means?
2. He might be able to get some good money for that Toyota FJ in the background......people pay stupid money for that stuff!
3. When I see projects like this I always wonder if on day 1 they realized how this was going to end? Had a buddy (non-mechanic type) dismantle a RUNNING, single color 68 Mustang in his garage to "restore it." 8 years later it was a basket case, parts all over the garage, primer everywhere.......that car has been apart now about 15 years and destroyed the usability of the garage for 15 years! Worst part is garage faced west (afternoon sun was brutal) so it wasn't ever going to be an "after work" project because it was too hot out there!

The rarity he speaks of is that the optioned V8 with a 3rd row seat was only manufactured in a quantity of 505 that year. Otherwise optioned that particular wagon was sold in significant quantities,

I bought this boat as a cool hangout for my boys which it served is purpose well. Asking $60,000. Original cost was $120,000. Aquasphere's were built South Korea so few ever made their way to the US. The only other one in the US I've heard of is apparently owned by Kurt Russell & Goldie Hawn. This is an exceptionally built boat!

Does not include surrounding deck or motor. 15hp Mercury can be included with controls for an additional $10000.

15 HP motor with controls for 10K? No trailer included either?

Interesting that Kurt Russell (former offshore racer) saw that this was so great to have that he bought the other one!

I think $10,000 for this is even more interesting...

Not funny, but pretty cool, check this out

http://lakeland.craigslist.org/clt/4812765069.html

ROLLS ROYCE MERLIN V-12 AIRCRAFT ENGINE FS - WWII FIGHTER AIRCRAFT

V-12 ROLLS ROYCE MERLIN WWII FIGHTER AIRCRAFT ENGINE FOR SALE

For Sale as a spare for Vintage WWII Spitfire or Hurricane aircraft, etc.
or, use it as an 1,100 HP "super-engine" for any project you may wish.

This is our family's last Rolls Royce Merlin V-12 Aircraft engine out of our Estate.

This engine belonged to our late Father. This Engine has been borescoped and the report we received with the engine rated it as "good condition". It is presently mounted on an original Military wooden stand and comes with it's history and paperwork.

This specific engine type was fitted to WWII Allied Fighters, such as the Supermarine Spitfire and Hawker Hurricane. This engine may also have been fitted to the British Avro Lancaster (4 engine heavy bomber), etc.

This engine has been in indoor, heated, secure storage since 2004 and has not been touched in that time. All serial numbers match.

Air Ministry No. A117840 is stamped on the crankcase. This engine was built 13 December 1937, tested 18 December 1937 and despatched to No.4 MU Ruislip on 22 December 1937. A117840 was part of an order under contract 547803/36 for 2854 Merlin engines.

We have been advised that few of these engines remain, worldwide, and their numbers are fewer every month. We have been unable to find another for sale the past 24 months.

Engine is sold "As-Is" and "Where Is" please.

All cash offers on this engine will be considered.

We would only like to hear from serious, capable Buyers who clearly understand what is for sale and have the ability to pay, pick up and ship.

We have bank references available to the Buyer.

Please email your interest and we will reply asap.

We will be glad to email larger-pixel PHOTOS to you when WITH our REPLY to you.

Thank you

Very cool....Im not sure where you would try and sell something like that but the Lakeland Fla CL doesnt seem like the best place. Hopefully they have it listed in some military mags and theyre not going all in with that add.
