Craigslist has single handily destroyed newspaper classifieds forever! I can remember as a kid buying the autotrader every Friday (new edition on newstands) looking for my first car. Now CL has taken that market too!

this boat may not be "gold", but it is a pretty cool boat in DAMN GOOD condition especially for the age and that price is probably pretty reasonable overall

beats the hell out of the crap this thread is littered with and this guy should teach a class on how to post a boat for sale ad

http://syracuse.craigslist.org/boa/5042817198.html

Scarab II with Kaama Surface Drives - $25000 (Camillus, NY)

30 foot Scarab II 1985 with Kaama Surface Drives. The Kaama Drives are good for about 10MPH over IO type Drives. They also do not have issues with heat or breaking like IO drives.
454 Engines built by Finger Lakes Machine. All good parts like roller cams, rockers, Crane marine
ignitions, Fuel Curve Engineering carbs, Oil Coolers, and more
The 30 foot Scarab hull is a great design and rides across rough water very nicely
Custom 4 Blade Stainless props
VDO gauges
Kiekhaefer Off Shore Trim Tabs
Drop Down Bolster Seats
I need to check the hour meter again, I believe its 175 on boat and 60 on engines
Large cuddy that converts to a usable sleeping area for 2 with room for your stuff and screens for hatches
Custom Wellcraft Trailer that extends past the drives to protect them. 4 New Tires on Trailer
Cover

Oh my, is this for real? Did someone here post this for fun? Scarab KV race boat!

http://tampa.craigslist.org/pnl/boa/5103589988.html

Needs buffing, but for $10,600 it can be yours. Wow, stripped out and ready for new stringers and transom.... And by stripped, they mean it came out of the mold with more stuff than it has now. And no trailer.

Come on....
