We went to both JN1 and 2 last year and the second one was maybe half the size of the first, and it was on labor day weekend then. Had a better time at the secon one...

Tom has a good point if our saftey is their concern then provide an emergency route to the island. The signs should then read NO UNDERAGE DRINKING. We have a good thing going here, let's not let others screw it up! If you want to go party you go to Gull or Muskamoot, If your taking the kids out (alot of us have kids) you go to stawberry or seaway ect. What happens when they shut down whereone parties? well I suppose they will just stop parting?

If the concern is underage drinking, I like the comments earlier about the high school football games, or try concerts, or patrol the island and give tickets for underage drinking. Our laws govern us, so on that if you commit the crime you pay, don't shut down a gathering because of what may happen, the party is legal, what goes on in a very small part of it might not be. Let's end all racing, because someone will crash... yeah right!
