Where our lake house is located, we get our share of bass boaters, but worse is swimmers!!! Despite a SIGN at the top of the ramp the says, "NO SWIMMING OR FISHING ON OR AROUND THE DOCK OR RAMP" every Sunday, there's twenty people with ice chests, drinking beer with a bunch of kids in pink swan blowups swimming on the ramp, jumping off the dock, and they defy you to pull up in your boat.

This is a great thread. My i.t. guys has a bullet with a 250xs running in the high 80s. I tell him all the time how can you get such an adrenaline rush flying across the water in a resin coated snot rag then do a 180 degree flip and slow down to a crawl flipping fkn worms and twitching a rod. One exteme to another. Loud azz two stoke ripping across the water to sheer bordum waiting for a nibble. I do love fishing but not for bass, give me a 50w and 50 block of pogies to chunk up a yft and you get my attention.

If he was really pruney and wearing a $5 orange life jacket, it may have been the one I tossed off my boat over the preceding holiday weekend. He probably didn't even belong to the family towing him, he was just sick of being adrift. Fat kids- Resilient little buggers, and they float!
