Default Looking for a few more mph!

This net 4 mph when I did this to the big boat. In comparison, this one is a Lot worse! We shall see. I put the hand held gps under the deck. May change boat attitude a lot, but it gives a general idea!

are you "blueprinting" the bottom or just roughing it up with sandpaper?

That is a HUGE cardboard box! What's that boat weigh? 9000lbs? Why is the label so big on the box? This is just crazy! Did they ship a house in the box? Or two cars?

i ran about 92 or so and then on a day w 30 mph tail wind and nices waves i ran 94.8. Got me thinking. Then i tried herings and ran 93.6 on a calm day.... So i decided to bluepeint the bottoms and the drives. I went full boat so to speak. I fixed every little imperfection there was and re gelcoted the bottom. On a calm day w the water a sheet of glass i went 98.0 !! So yea it definatly is a good thing. The rc boat is still in the process. Stay tuned

Here you can see how far crooked the arneson was. About a inch or so in real life. You can also see where the housing "was" dragging. And it looks like the transome joint hqs seen some stress
