So that's why everyone beach's their boat...... No, that has never been a thing for me to do. Take sandpaper or even rock
and redo the finish on the bottom of your boat. Maybe a water taxi is needed...

No sandpaper for me either. Go past the beach, around to the left past the mega raft up and wala... nice 4' dp water to anchor in and wade to the party. That's where you'll find me. Sandy bottom ... off the beatin path. Way cool back there. You won't be in the lime light though... if that is your gig.
