I need a gen v 502 block
Just like it says. Torched a head and block when I pushed a head gasket out. Anyone have a Gen V 502 block near NY? No junk!

I have a gen 5, if you can find a gen 6 I'd swap it so I have a matched pair.

You may be able to have the block welded up between the cylinders. I have done this a few times with race car blocks that I had lots of time or money in with no ill effects.

Gonna deck this one .010 and see what it looks like. Its right near the rear head bolt and right in a head gasket water passage. Here's a nice pic of the junk head.

HP500 with Edelbrock aluminum heads. Lucky it didn't catch boat on fire. It burned the bilge blower ducting! When I felt it lose power I quick shut that motor down. I stayed up on plane with the other two motors for another 18-20 miles. That musta forced water thru the drive and motor and sprayed out this gash putting any fire out. Wondered why bilge pump light kept coming on! I boated the whole next day on the port and center motor.

I was wide open at around 5,100 rpms at around 20-22 psi and 160 degrees water temp. Not sure what the head gaskets were but all three motors are being gone thru as we speak and will have MLS gaskets. Waiting to hear back from Bob Madera because I am thinking about going to 540's with new cams.
