I like the idea of all the classes being split in two, fueling and non fueling.

Unleashed has about a 130mile range..........

More tweaking today.........

Class A 43 to 55 feet - Unlimited engines - Turbines, up to Five Outboards, Three plus sterndrives
Class B 30 to 42 feet - Twin engines - up to Four Outboards
Class C 25 to 29 feet - Twin engines - up to Three outboards
Class D 18 to 24 feet - Simgle or twin sterndrives up to Two Outboards
Class H Historic. Any boats 20 years or older
Historic same as Open and Production classes of the past.

Charlie. Classes looks pretty good, just curious about something. 20+ year old hull, modern power. H class or class of length?
We can talk further at OFF, and please save me 2 seats at a table, since I can't get there before 5. got reservation for the social Friday, but Gerri suggested that I get the seats saved. Thx .. P

Where would a 29'6" canopyed single engine fit in? Considering the boat is kept at Toms Point Marina the commute wouldn't be to far.

So based on my length, I'd be in Class A with boats with unlimited power and/or turbines? So, basically, you're saying that my only shot is if all of these guys break down and I don't.. I am also pretty sure I will need a fuel stop..

Think class B should allow larger boats with small power and small outdrives "Bravo"
Just a thought

Peter. I will be sitting at someone elses table, but I will see what I can do for you.

We don't expect 20 plus year old boats to run old power.

Good for you, I wouldn't expect that you would want to. If you have a boat and crew that is capable of running hard, do it. Historic is for those who want to participate in the race and bring their boats to show others what these boats looked and sounded like.

We would probably put you in where your boat length is equal to others.

Not a definite answer at this point.
