Ironic you posted that, I was just looking at that program yesterday day, I have the 1974 Hennessy Grand Prix program (the race was in Atlantic City that year) I was in the Ocean in my father's 20' Cigarette watching that race as a nine year old. I have the 1975 program you posted, and the rest of the years are all the Benihana Grand Prix in Pt. Pleasant Beach. The

The July 21st, 1976 Program with La Tortuga on the cover, the July 13th 1977 program with CAM 2 on the cover, the July 12th 1978 program with Beep Beep on the cover, the July 18th 1979 program with Bounty Hunter on the cover, the July 16th 1980 program with the Benihana catamaran on the cover.

And one gem that I have which I think is really cool is the June 3rd 1980 Toms River Toyota International Powerboat Race (Barnegat bay Power Boat Racing Association) which has the 27' Magnum Likl Smidgen, my favorite raceboat of alltime,on the cover, which states Roger Munn won 1975-1976, Bud Crisp won in Rated X in 1977, just good stuff, races I went to growing up. If I can get my printer to scan I will post pictures

Mr. McCarthy, I bring this up because this 2015 Don Aronow Around Long Island Memorial has the same attributes to create a lasting memory for a young person, to generate interest in Offshore Powerboats, and to continue the legacy of this event for years to come as the Benihana Grand Prix has done in Pt. Pleasant. I think it is fantastic that you are organizing and promoting this event. I bought those brochures, attended those races, met with the drivers, it is something I never forgot, you too will create a great memory for others, for this I applaud your efforts, I am eager to attend and witness this event too.

Numbers? Etc. and where and when to sign up. I don't want this to be forgotten. I have been talking to some of my distributors and contractors. Most are willing to sponsor me. Not sure to what extent but anything helps

Thank you for your comments. We look forward to this being a big event for years to come and hopefully some kids out there will get their chance to meet the drivers and crews of these ocean racing boats.
