Looking at the KW forecast is appears there is a chance of t storms later in the day. . So if they are shortening the races to beat the weather why is the schedule not moved up ? The start times remain the same so why bother? Let them run the distance....

I have a feeling there could be a few black flags today and the World Champions are going be selected by their positions from Friday and Wed if they do not get a chance to race today...

From listening to the live feed the weather seems to be the reason for the adjustment in length. Like you said though, why not move the start times up?

its tough to move start times. Spectators, racers, support fleet, etc it would be next to impossible to get everybody re coordinated plus I believe the use permited are windowed to specific times that also cannot be easily moved.

Listening to the live feed you would think it was hurricane conditions. They keep talking about how rough it is but I'm just not seeing it.

That is exactly my point. Then why not let them race the miles they were supposed to for today if it is not benefitting to move the times up ?
