My hatch is longer and the flat/step area in front of engines is a tad bigger from Cafe it isn't much but for sure bigger in Mistress, see pics either way Cafe's are bad azz and have way more cabin space lol

Back in the day when we stretched the length, we would cut just ahead of the cockpit and add on between the cockpit and the bow section. So,if you find the cockpit between a 35 and a 38 seem very close....they probably are.

Now hull length, the 38 Top Gun was a hull taken from the 39 foot hull mold that was 8 foot wide. It was blocked down to just 37 feet 6 inches. So it was only 18 inches longer, than the 35 footer. So if you think the ride is similar it is not hard to figure out why.

Stagger engine set up always lowers the CG and helps the boat maintain a level flight pattern. You don't have to keep trimming the tabs or drives to stay level. If your constantly trimming the boat, something is off.

Right, look at flat spot in front of engines, its bigger in a Mistress... between bulkhead and firewall. the bulkhead itself in front of engines is the same, Bravo gives way more room there, I am talking about the step area... it's different..look at the area of space by the 6" round access cover, cafe is smaller... I been in both many times also... LOL Don't matter both good boats

Yep there's definitely some extra room on that step/flat area in the bilge.
