Nancy,
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts are with you. A very good friend of mine told me this when I lost my Grandmother in June...."It's not life that matters, it's the courage that you bring to it."
Let me know if there is anything we can do for you.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts & prayers. Bernie was a wonderful guy who had a ton of friends who loved him. Both him & his wife were so full of life - it's hard for all of us to believe he's gone. His best friend who also has a house in LOTO will be driving his boat during a moment of silence that we have planned sometime on Saturday. Rhubarb (one of the owners of Cottonwood) was also a very close friend of his. I really just wanted to let you all know about this so you would understand if people are in a more solem mood then what you might be expecting. His wife Shari is planning on being there for at least part of the races Sat. I am in the middle of putting together a slide show of pictures in his honor that we will run up at the marina this week-end. He was so looking forward to running his Challenger in the Shoot-out & I know will be there in spirit. I actually think he just wanted to see if his boat would go fast enough to outrun those other LOTO (cop)Challengers!
I'll be sure to pass on all your condolences to his wife.

Nancy,
Our condolences to the family and friends.
I can't tell you how impressed I am with Bernies wife. She must be a strong lady and a loving wife to make the consessions she's made.
On the other hand, It sounds like that's what Bernie would have wanted, and what a great way to honor his memory.
Also, could you please give me a call as soon as is convenient for you?
Thanks,
Gordo
