hi guys, im running a pair of ex u.s. military diesel gen sets 24/7/365 and am looking for some larger units in the 15kw and 25 kw range. dont want any crap from china. cummins diesel has a lot of support down here so prefer something with cummins power, or other diesel power gen set that is super rugged. thx for any info, rm

live on an island in colombia about two hours from cartagena.
i would buy it in the states as u get hosed on price and warranty in colombia. for instance my senco nail gun was 320 bucks in the states and a grand in colombia 5 year warranty in the states 1 year in colombia.
if a colombian company gives me a hard time with a warranty issue, i can call the states and they will go to bat for me.
60 hz, will probably buy a 15kw and a 25kw so i can run as small a gen set as possible to conserve my 4.50 a gallon diesel fuel.
a 4 star hotel on the island runs a 25kw at night and a 40kw in the day and they spent 100k dollars on diesel last year.
i hope to run a lot of stuff with solar in the future after im built out. thx, rm

Hey Buddy, I've got a 20kw Kowler Generator Powered by a Yanmar 4cy diesel. The back end is brand new and the engine only has 400 hrs on it. It was built by Noahs Ark Marine Generators in Cocoa, Fl. it is a BULLIT proof unit. I only want $4,200 for it. If you are interested call me and I will tell you all about it. I will also grantee it.

If you have the engine, go with the Onan generator, reliable, fool proof. If you want a whole new package, meaning engine, generator, fuel tank, I would call MulitQuip. I used to rent generators before becoming an attorney, when I worked for General Electric Energy Rentals and Aggreko rentaing units from 10 kW to 2,000 kW Diesel generators.

Or cvall the local Kohler distributor, they will be able to help you.. I would try Onan first.
