I know someone here will know. ( the black hose .. I don`t even know what to call it)

Use to be called a Clam Shell, I'm sure different styles had different names. Some where Cable Glands, Clam Shells, Look in your Lewis marine Book ( That was a joke for anyone who built boats in the 70's, 80's, 90's.. Friggin books were Huge )

That is a Mercury part number 36081 but it almost looks like the hole has been drilled out. Hard to tell from photo.

^^^^^ That is correct above as it is called the Inlet hose COVER for the older style round bottle outdrive reservoirs. Maybe google that Merc part number and see what comes up. I remember that part # number as well.

Thats it! Those other clamshells are too small for a -10AN line. Tom if you would like to sell them I`m buying...
