Sticky trim cylinders, help
500+ hr salt water lift kept boat
at the beginning of every season one drive sticks a bit and doesnt want to go down unless under way and its still slow. This usually fixes itself in couple runs.
This year port drive is slow trimming up when under way. Put about 10 hrs so far this year and still an issue. Any ideas on the fix? new bushings where cylinder bolts to drive?

You can rebuild the Rams but honestly there are Ones on eBay already rebuilt and cheap enough...I'd go that route.

I dont think they need replacing at the moment, by sticky i meant after i trim the boat once on plane the portdrive needs one quick bump from the individual switch to be even on indicator, thats new this season. Other than that they work fine. Ill try the WD40 route first this weekend. Next time the boat is on land where can be worked on ill full service them.
