KAAMA,
If you don't make it this weekend there's always the next. I'll come back over there to see the "Kaama" in action. Did you take any pictures of your project? It would make a good thread this winter.

32fever,
My wife is going to make a rare appearance on the boat this weekend. She likes your side of the pond. It's not as rough as in the city! I guess that makes it Fountain water.
Dan
BTW, have you figured out where to go for ice cream in MC.

From what I hear the weather is looking better and better as we get closer to the weekend. Cool and sunny. Last weekend the weather man said it was going to be crap but turned out great. My Indian blood (American) tells me that this will be a good one too. If I'm wrong it must be that drunk Irish side clouding things again.
Cashbrain, Did you get me E-Mail?

Either weekend works for me,but can't make both.....Sounds like a blast to run with the biggest pack of boats that can come together(plus it changes the odds that I won't be the slowest dog out there )
Doug-PureAdrenaline,You might want to double check on the launch ramp at New Buffalo, spring of 01 ,I sucked up lots of muck at the lauch ramp, not sure if it's been dredged since then or not....

Derek,
The DNR ramp on Riverview Drive is about the best place to launch at. That's where Doctor Dave, 32Fever, Rocketman, Rampage and I will be launching anyway.
Doug,
I was kind of wondering the same thing that Steve/Rampage was saying about that launch ramp in New Buffalo---pretty shallow unless they dredged it out. You might want to call the city, county or state about that before you go there and waste your time.

Kaama/IN/IL guys,
Kaama mentioned us buzzing MI City and heading towards you and running back for a while with you guys. Mark, do you know already, or should I ask....will you guys be running across the lake, or up the coast?

32Fever,
You have a valid point! Good question for Candyman to answer.
Candyman,
Are you guys coming straight across the lake or are you following the shoreline??? If you are coming from Hammond, by geographics you probably will still be coming by way of the shoreline just by the curvature of the shoreline from Hammond to Michigan City---or is it that far out of whack? I don't really know as I am not that familiar with that end of Lake Michigan.
