My thoughts exactly, that thing was all over the damn place. Thank god he's OK, but I'm amazed he stayed in it as long as he did

they reported he will be going home very soon Also that he could not laugh cause he had a few broken ribs and banged up pretty good.. They gave his name out today on the LOTO live feed. It was not Derek D. as reported, this guy name was Jeff M. from North Carolina.

It looked like something was not right possibly with the boat. It never settle down at all, even before the starting line. The boat also sunk very very quickly. Wonder if the drive broke off ? If not something loose or on its way of breaking caused the handling issues ?.

He stayed in it way to long, not even a matter of opinion about it.

Maybe a 22' boat wasn`t meant to go over 100?
Jesus, this guy is lucky he`s not at the bottom of the river.

so imagine a canopy boat. You are going fast and stop in 50 '. How hard would you slam around in the capsule.. And then if the boat sank.. They have to find you in the bottom of the lake by feeling for your air bubbles .. in the dark!. I think the boat got the side blown out or the cap separated. The bow leaked all the air out instanly

There are several 22' running 100, hull is capable. Boat was never under control in the whole run, no surprise how it ended. Main thing, Jeff is OK...

Fully clothed Officer with no lifejacket on was in the water in 33 seconds. I guess your brave ass would have been there quicker right? Asshat...
