I can't speak for donation of a boat - but I did donate an old truck a few years ago- and it was a VERY good experience. I believe it was Cars for Kids -- not 100% sure. We got a receipt for the "value" and used that for our taxes. No audit was conducted - and if so we had all the documentation air tight.

If someone has a boat out there that has value and someone would benefit - I would strongly recommend they donate it to an organization that could use the bucks.

if anyone has a boat or car to donate,wounded worriers is a good orginization to give it to.

i think it is a scam, other wise who can give his/her boat to charity, i don't think so that he is serious in doing that

Wounded warriors is wrapped up in scandal due to the lavish lifestyles of it.s executives. What once was a great thing became corrupted and needs a lot of fixing.
