Previously you mentioned about changing props as the boats load changes if you run a waste-gate with electronic control you can customize your boost curve to match your props.

lagging is what the uk boys call insulation and metal, thats i do for a living, a good person could do you a very nice job.
they have just brought out this new(to me) material called pyrogel that is very water resistant (water rolls around like mercury on it). Its about 3/8ths of an inch thick. Im thinking two staggered layers and covered in .024 stainless jacket would last very well.

how about the flange and tube that bolts to the head over each exhaust port welded onto a gil dry tail ?
weld the end shut, make a gil to turbo adapter,
what i see in my head almost looks like your post page 108 post 1078
5 5/8 X 5 5/8 mounting flange, 4 1/4 o.c. bolt holes, 3 3/4 i.d. exhaust, 4 inch o.d., 7/16 dia. bolt holes
i have 4 of them TRS length you can have for free, just pay shipping
length from tip to weld at riser 31 3/4
overall length 44

i would rather not water jacket it and just put some kind of insulation/heat shield as long as it Stays cool enough to not catch stuff on fire after 10 hours of 1400 degree exhaust on the inside.

I just copy and pasted this take a look. I think your exhaust will need some bellows between a few cylinders to keep it from cracking.

Engines are almost done. I will be flying out to Salt Lake City to industrial injection on Tuesday and by Wednesday or Thursday we will be dynoing them. If I have good enough internet service I will try to stream the Dyno runs live.

Engines closer to running. On the front we added a waterman mechanical fuel pump instead of using electric so it will not tax the alternators and batteries as much. We still have the Fass electric fuel pump to prime the system and as a backup.

Valve covers:
we downloaded a solid works file of the 6.7 cummins head and designed and built the billet valve covers based on the file. We did not know there was a spacer for the injector wiring that has a little bit different footprint so the valve covers do not fit. Like I said at the beginning of this thread I will show you the good and the bad. We messed up, No big deal just have to make new ones. Yes I could weld it up ect., but we're going to go ahead and make new ones so we know what we make will fit right.

I just ran across this build a few weeks ago and i figured id make an account to follow it. I was dreaming of using high powered 6.7 cummins engines for marine use. Are they still 6.7 liters of displacement? How are you running standalone ECMs and can you load files via EFI live?
