For Sure! I met Tyson a few months ago, ended up having lunch with him and a few others. He is a great guy and he and Peter are building ( IMHO ) one hell of a boat. I'm just an average boater with an average running boat, I was very impressed! he is a real nice guy.Great job Guys, please keep the info and Pictures coming!

We will happily give anyone a ride if you see us somewhere and were not in a rush to get somewhere.

Ok, on to the fun part. We had the diesel engines on display at the PRI show and the Miami Boat show but for the people that live in a box I will start out from the beginning.
In the beginning we wanting to build this boat to set long distance endurance records. We started out planning around the Cummins 6.7 liter 560 hp 1250 ftlb engine. We test fit them in the boat and were hoping it would be able to run at least 100 mph. And assumed we would turn them up a little if it did not run 100. Then as the build was going we kept thinking about how much easier it would be if it went faster. The problem is the rpm range of the cummins. We wanted to be able to turn 4000-5000 rpm since we were 1 to 1 gear ratio and all the top diesel guys said the cummins would never live that high. So we started looking into Duramax engines. They look like a big block that we normally put in a boat so they fit good, they are 500 lbs lighter, and we can turn them more RPM. We started doing research to build our own and one of the guys we would have bought parts from that makes everything for a Duramax including his own heads said he would like to be involved. I went out and met with him and we are working together to design a Duramax engine for the high performance boat world that after we do a lot of testing and show that it will live doing endurance runs I will start trying to mass produce them to sell. Here is the base part of the engine being test fit into the engine compartment.
