What I see after the last 3 pages is that if you need some work done through their company - when you call, you will be speaking to Tyson because Tristan is too damn busy getting everything done! LOL

Good to see such team work!

Window center brace, My suspension seats sit a little higher then standard seats so they have room to travel down, I had to have a taller windshield then they normally use and the brace up the center was not long enough so I had to weld on another piece and sand the weld back out. After they drill it on the window we will taper it to match the original piece. It will be painted so it does not have to be perfect.

GPS sensors. The Simrad monitors have a gps sensor in them but the external ones are a little more accurate since they do not have to shoot through the dash and windshield. We have two separate systems in the boat from port to starboard for redundancy so we have an external GPS sensor for each. There will be an external GPS sensor on the shark fin at the back also incase the one's on the front get knocked off. The third sensor is the Sirius Weather/xm receiver. On the Simrad screen we will have wind direction, wind speed, wave height, wave direction, and weather radar

Tyson, are you working with the company selecting specific products as part of a sponsorship deal or are you doing this all on your own?

Just curious if any of your amazing work will lead to product partnerships with skater going forward

A few of the things in the boat were sponsored by manufactures.

An example would be Simrad. They said they would sponsor some of the product for me to test it in conditions that are not normally encountered and the advertising it will get. I made them a list of stuff that I needed in the boat and they added a few things to the list like a network interface to make it all tie together correctly that I did not know I needed. They sent me some of the stuff and I bought some of it. I have done testing for them of some of there products before to try to make them more usable in the high performance market.

We make some parts for Skater and other manufactures. When the boat is done I hope to show off some of the stuff we have built to try to sell and to show what were capable of for future business. We can design and build anything, so the boat will just be a tool to try to get different work. The boat has three purpose's, I like to go boating more then anyone, so it will be a boat I can go out and use to run around and have fun. Then it will also be used to try to set endurance records. I was fun to do the endurance records we have beat so it is something to do. Kind of like going to a go-cart track and riding around, you always try to go as fast as you can because it gives you a goal. You don't just drive it around slow looking around. The endurance records are the same way, they give you a goal that you try to meet. And the boat will be a marketing tool to get our name out there. When we do a long distance endurance record it may have nothing to do with making an injection mold for the armrest of a wheel chair manufacture but they may see something about us making a run and look up my company and call us to see if we have the ability to make something for them.
