Actually it's so maybe one of them actually works.

Two words for this rig : Donor Boat

First line was my thought when posting this.

My second line was somewhat specific to a particular speedo that came to mind, in that it had some quirky tendencies at times.

Make all the fun you want but few recalls lie.
Based on that ... Look how fast this boat is. ;-)

I hate to admit it but I think I have more fun in my 19' Bayliner Trophy CC that I slapped a 200 Optimax and hydraulic steering on than I do in my Fountain. I think I have a total of 6K invested in it, it runs almost 60 on GPS, it sips gas, and I rinse it out with a hose when it gets dirty. ****, I just spent more than 3k for new canvas on my Fountain. I also have to admit that after crawling all over this thing and rerigging it, it is built like a damn tank. It's a 1996 boat and not a crack in it anywhere.

I wouldn't want to build it but if you got it for a reasonable number I think it would be funny blowing the doors off people around me from North Jersey who all lie about how fast there boats go. This thing would run past a good number of them and how embarrassing it would be when they figure out its a Byliner. Ha. Plus as stated earlier you have to start somewhere and at least you'd be on the water having fun.
