I would recommend strongly to refrain from partaking in this idea. Not so good. Unless you want extended stay in Cuban jail waiting to acquire some bullets for the firing squad.

Im guessing its one of 3 possible things.... (and it just wouldnt be an Apaches story if there werent some controversy and cloud of mystery..)
1. he didnt get proper US clearances and they told him once he and the boat are out of Cuban water he is going to visit Ben...
2. He didn't grease the proper hands down there and when he showed up they took the boat and told him to pound sand.
3. He is a rich enough kid that when things didnt go how he imagined and his 15 minutes of fame were quickly turning into 15 minutes of embarassment over huge seas and incredible speeds, he dropped it like a hot rock and walked away.
All he really needs is to send Chuck Norris over there to pick it up and run it back, But then Chuck would just destroy his record on the way back to Key West...

2 Probably did grease the right hands, he just did not factor that he needed to regrease the left hands also
3 He is rich enough to understand that he can't enjoy his life in Cuban jail or with the death squad.

[QUOTE=bck;4510573]On Cuba magazine
Cargo ships leave the US to Cuba every week. Loaded with commercial and agricultural products. These same ships return empty. Oh and the have cranes on the ship to load and unload themselves. Posts in US have cranes and ports in Cuba have cranes. Other option would be freighter route thru US to Mexico to Cuba and return. This route has been used for over 25 years. Go to Cuba and see all the products that are for sale made in the US and even made in Miami of all places. These products and stores for everybody but the Cuban people.
