Just came across this horrible video. Is there any new info on the boat or was it just some rich person spent a boat load of money(pun intended) to have some fun and move on?

That much exposure was a death sentence for the road Pylon Orange paint, but if you can afford the BS the boat has been through after paying for the rebuild and attempt to run to Cuba - what's a paint job in you new favorite colour.

Sad reality is that after being exposed in Cuba for that long, the pics of it on the trailer indicate that a couple of guys wet sanding/ buffing and a new set of decals... the boat "could" look like it did back in the hey-day of post #165.

Owner seems happy with how it looks with the faded paint. He seems more than capable to change it back if he wishes but he doesnt.

Doesn't look horrible or anything. It's turning into an off white / beige almost it looks like.
That tangerine / candy orange does NOT do well in the sun.
That thing sure would be fun to run!

Considering how the Tangerine held up, I'm kinda surprised that the black looks a vivid as it does in the pic and not burned up as well
