I can easily be wrong as getting older or read wrong a thread
so activator did the single then double step in the mold
I read quite a few months back that ménage said something about the 2 steps
on a thread showing pics of the boat
so I guessed he added them or so he must have just changed them or something like u said
I raced a 1979 ex way back then and found the 1 I have now at a good starting price and restored it and pushing the hull past its limits
as why looking now for a 30,,,,,,
u still have the 29 fountain that had the delam spot?

My only point is that Activator never purchased molds from Excalibur or Wellcraft. Activator was building the 27 before Wellcraft had anything to do with that bottom. I could actually give you the exact story of the whole 27 Activator bottom but I prefer not to. The very basic story is that Mark had a friend who owned a 27 Excaliber and Mark made a plug off of that boat.
