I swore I’d never own one but right now being 300 miles away from my boat it is nice to know whenever I get there and drop the lift the VRod is going to fire right up and give me a weekend of trouble-free boating.

clearly written by someone who has never spent any time on a toon.

I have spent time on a toon......they are more like a hearse then Dad's station wagon. But then again, you are on the water and that is what counts.

Almost bought one many years ago with a 540/675 IO in it. Certainly wouldn’t give up offshore for one but.... The one I looked at was like 70k if I recall. Just sayin.

I hope you all know I am breaking balls. I was out tonight on my local lake......Toons all over, adults and kids having a great time an
d that is what counts, being on the water with friends and family. We stopped at a on water restaurant for wings and a couple of beers. Docked next to us was a beat up old toon with a handmade aluminum sunshade and frame. Not the best looking boat or sunshade but it all worked and the family was having a grand time, seven of them plus a couple of dogs. Doesn't get much better.

Good back peddle. Line your fire breathing boat up against an 800 hp toon and let me know how it goes? I’ve done it, my feelings got hurt.

No back peddle, I just enjoy the hell out of boats and water. Still....I have no desire to own a toon or a fishing boat pretending to be an offshore boat. Each to thier own. As far as the 800hp toon, I am just a hop skip and a jump from lake Erie....Bring one up and we will play.
