Default Costal Marine Export?

Hi folks

Wondering if any one has dealt with C.M.E.
I've been screwed over so many times in the marine industry, even with purchases from the Classified section.
I just don't trust anyone, but I'm in a pickle.
I want a new Transom Assembly (rather than mess with R&R&R of my current one & save some time).
has anyone dealt directly with them? the ad was posted in 2011 but renewed in April 2016.

I've heard good things also but have not yet dealt with him. We have talked on the phone. Since he doesn't take credit cards, sending a check blindly off to someone does make for some anxious moments. Please let us know how your experiences pan out.

You will have no problem with CME. I sent him a check for 10k plus without any hesitation before .Mike is a stand up guy. I take it that you are from Canada, not sure how he handles the exchange rate or you have to send him US funds

PM Smokin' Gun about him. He sold Gordon a set of Edelbrock heads off of a 525 that weren't fit to be a boat anchor, then dicked him around on a refund when he was called out on it.

Great point and Memory Matt,

Smokin Gun had to agree to take thread down to get his$$$back after that fiasco.

Here's the the thread that went up by another questioning the site why the thread was deleted.
