I was in the drivers seat {doing nothing) While Jerry Gilbreath did that very docking procedure in a supercat skater.awesome to witness.
he did it quick in between two other supercats ,

Same here with Ed Smith in his Supercat . . . . with crash boxes and the levers reversed so that back was forward and forward was back (he said it kept the sticks out of the way while i throttled ) . . . THAT guy is the docking master, he can spin that thing around and pretty much put it anywhere with ease

with 4 single function levers right next to each other, and no one on board to tie off before the wind and tide jacks up the boat when you idle down, shift to nuetral and sprint to get a line on the dock cleat, then there's still the bow !

they must have broken transmissions quite often docking like that!!!

Man, that was fun to watch. Of course the more I think of it, it's even more fun to watch some of our customers pull up to our gas dock. Twice the speed and less than half the talent. Wanna guess what usually happens?
