There was video posted here once from a rearward-facing GoPro that captured a blade coming off a boat and going airborn behind it. Can you image following someone in a poker run and catching a blade in the teeth?!

I know!, I was wondering where the blade ended up, hopefully on the bottom of the ICW....

A number of years ago at the Rochester Offshore Battleship Run on Seneca Lake, A guy in a really nice 42' Fountain did just that. He was running a set of 5 blade Hering props on Six Drives and tossed a blade from one drive right into the other. Want to guess how much that cost?

Why do that? he can cut off the opposite blade so its balanced and be able to run full throttle!

April fools day was hard on us, 5 boats and only two didn't break something!

Yep... I had a labbed 28 Bravo 1 throw a blade pretty much exactly like this.

So that's what a semi-labbed finish is, huh? Lol

How fast were you going when it happened? Did the boat do anything weird after the blade decided to part ways?

40-50mph, BUT I just gave the throttle a little push... And once the blade departed, the boat just started vibrating real bad, even though I had never thrown a blade before, I could feel the vibration was drive related...

That sounds relatively safe anyway. I'm assuming you got off plane and limped home.
