Default Hatch Actuator - Marine Specific? Spark Protection?

Is there a difference between say a Hardin actuator and other actuators not marketed for marine use? Specifically when it comes to spark protection like on starters? I'm guessing there is no spark to worry about since it's a completely enclosed mechanism.

I've found a correctly sized replacement but want to make sure I'm not asking for trouble going with it. It is IP65 rated so moisture should be no issue.

Anyone have any insight? Thanks!
