i lived on both lakes for years...LOTO is the way to go...WAY more to do and see than at Cumberland

Griff is right, it depends a lot on the weather in May. I'm in the water prior to memorial day weekend pretty much every year. Water temps are usually mid 70s or higher by Memorial Day. If you get a week or so of 90+ temps where it doesn't cool down at night the lake will be in the 80s.
