It’s a 10 year old 30 ft ex raceboat at the end of the day. It’s almost comical in my opinion somebody would even ask that kind of money. Just for comparison a BRAND NEW 34ft Pilini with 400 is 265k. Which is A LOT bigger boat than that 30 skater. Nobody in their right mind will pay close to that. People see that and think, hey that’s what he’s asking so mine must be worth the same then they put theirs for sale for another ridiculous number and it sits on the market forever. It’s “unicorn” all right one of a kind price............

the boat manufactures are doing the same thing they see one company selling for huge dollars and the they copy , that 34 was the old 32 and could be bought for a 100 k less brand new not even 10 year ago

the depreciation loss of these outboard cats is going to be something we’ve never seen before. Once their a few years old they will be worth 40 percent of what they sold for.

gotta love the above link. A 30ft 2002 worn out spectre, performance boat center is asking 84k!! Rey from hellcats in Miami will sell u a 30 ft blank hull with trailer and interior for 40k. You tell me who in their right mind would pay even close to 84k for that 2002 spectre when they can buy a BRAND NEW one for 40k rig it with some 300xs and be all in for 80k at the most for a new boat. Think about that for a second . I don’t Even know how they justify their pricing...................

I divided $2,250 over the life of the (5-year, 60 payments) loan

A loan for 5 years or 60 payments (5yrs x12 months = 60 payments)

2250 / 60 = $37.5

so you'll be paying an extra $37.50 every month to own a brand new V8 motor

not too bad, no?
