Miami is something you have to see but I like Fort Lauderdale or even Palm Beach shows better.

I'm so glad I got to experience Miami (my one and only time) back in the heyday in 2005. Not sure I could go back now as there is no way it would be like it was. I remember going thru the first 39 NorTech vee that was not quiet yet done but they took it to the show anyway. Mentalpause on here was building the first Sunsation F-4 and Wayne was wanting to put 525's in it. The next step up would have been 850's but Merc was getting ready to release the 600's. Formula hooked us up for a ride on a 382 that had the some of the test mule 600's in it. Though the performance of that boat didn't impress us ( think they were still dialing in props) it made it clear that the F-4 had to have blower motors in it to fill up that massive engine compartment. Just an epic show with epic weather that year. OSO had a meet and greet party that we attended but soon ditched as you had to be one of the boys back in that era or no one talked to ya. Pretty sure I did not see one CC at the show and if there were any there, we paid them no mind. Ah, the good 'ol days...

We ran through the convention center pretty quick yesterday as we got into town late but here are some pics i got. Preformance wise from what i saw Cigarette had a 42X and 4 CC MTI had the new 482 and a 390.And Fountain had about 4 CC's. We're are heading to the in water portion today and will take pics if there is anything preformance based. If anybody knows of anything we missed at the convention center let me know
