Stopped by the Screaming Eagle shop on Wednesday and had a great time talking about a new boat with Todd and Karen.
Now have to decide which direction I will be going. Was set on a 32 Spectre but may have to change to a 26 American Offshore. Either way will have 400 Verado’s for power. Where we will be boating primarily a 32 will be to big.

Go with the AO! Fantastic little boat. We’ve had one for 4 years and wouldn’t trade it for anything. You’ll love it.

Any AO's ever equipped with outboards? That'd be pretty unique and cool

I have only seen one in person and it had twin 280's. I do not know the top end, but it ran pretty good in the rough. It was down at the Lake Cumberland in 2004 or 05. The AO 26 is an identical copy of the Talon 25 bottom, just a modified deck. The Talon 25's have run great with twin 300's and I know of two that had triple 2.5's on them. I bought one of the triples a couple years ago, less power. I never re-powered it and sold it in 2017.

The guy who use to run it had triple drag 2.5's on it and he said it was a beast.
